A button-shaped grey/green stone stamp seal decorated with an abstract pattern.

Mesopotamia, 5th or 4th Millennium BC

Extensively worn, the suspension hole on the back has almost entirely eroded.

Size: 2.7 x 0.9 cms.

Ex. Astarte Gallery, London, W1. Acquired 1980's.
