East Roman pottery vessel

A wheel-turned pottery flask with an unusually proportioned body which resembles the shape of a pear. The rim is mounted with a single strap handle.

Eastern Roman Empire, c. 4th Century AD

A small chip from the rim otherwise in very fine condition
