Roman mosaic glass bezels

A group of five bright multi-coloured mosaic glass fragments re-cut and polished to be used as jewellery bezels during the 19th Century.

Roman, 1st Century AD

Intact as shown (originally fragments from larger glass vessels).

 Sizes: 1.6 to 1.9 cms each

Ex. private collection, Glasgow, Scotland; acquired in the early 20th Century.
