Roman marble head of a goddess

A head from a small carved figure of a female deity, possibly the goddess Victory or Isis-Aphrodite.

Her long hair is tied to form a wreath-like coiffure which is surmounted by a broad diadem.

Roman, c. 2nd or 3rd Century AD.

Nose worn, good tactile patina.

Size:  4.6 x 2.7 cms
