Roman bronze figure of Priapus

A bronze figure of the fertility god Priapus, he is depicted holding fruit or vegetables in his cloak thus lifting its hem to reveal his erect phallus.

Priapus was revered as the protector of livestock, fruit plants, gardens and male genitalia.
