Roman light green glass vase

A substantial light green glass vase with a bulbous body mounted with a wide mouth formed into a curved rim with a rounded collar.

Roman, c. 1st or 2nd Century AD

Size: 9.1 x 8.5 cms

Intact, one side partially coated in a black surface which reveals a vivid metallic iridescence.

Ex. collection: A. E. Reeves, Wiltshire, UK. Acquired between 1950-2000.
