A handle from a fine bronze oil lamp decorated with a horse's head sprouting from a flower. The oil lamp would have been suspended from a candelabrium or ceiling via a chain which was attached to the loop below the horse head. Roman, 2nd or 3rd Century AD Intact as shown Size: 5 x 2 cms Ex. UK private collection, acquired in the 1980's from Faustus Fine Art.
