Etruscan decorated Bucchero Pesante chalice

A dark grey Bucchero Pesante pottery chalice decorated with a moulded frieze of winged felines as well as incised ornamentation.

Italy, Etruscan, 6th Century BC; possibly from Chiusi.

Extensive crude repairs, some minor infill and a large loss to the foot.
