A pair of gold earrings consisting of a solid hoop mounted with a shield shaped boss above stylised grape clusters with granulated decoration.

Roman, c. 2nd Century AD

Intact as shown in the photographs, mounted with modern gold hoops so that they can be worn.

Size: 2.8 cms each, 3.5 cms including modern attachment hoops.

Acquired in the art market, Birmingham, UK.
