Roman British solid gold bracelet

£750

A simple but very attractive bracelet made from a length of solid gold with plain polished terminals.

The gold has a lovely soft burnish from having been worn and remains as wearable today as the day it was made. The light yellow gold colour is typical of British metal but a metallurgical report would be required to assess if it was mined in Britain with certainty.

Roman, probably British gold and found in Britain, c. 1st Century AD

Intact.

Size: 7.4 x 5.3 cms

Ex. private collection, UK; acquired early 1990's. Formerly in the Johnes collection, UK.
