Roman bronze fibula with modern gold mount

A bronze fibula with finely incised decoration.

Roman, 1st Century AD

Size: 4.3 x 1.7 cms

Original bronze pin now lost, some minor damage to the back of the terminal. The fibula is now mounted with a modern gold clasp and loop so that it can be worn as a necklace pendant.
