Roman gold earrings

A pair of gold earrings with spiral shanks and shield-shaped bosses with wire and filigree decoration.

Roman, c. 3rd Century AD

Size: 2 x 1 cms, 2.8 cms from top of modern hoop attachments.

Intact, and mounted with modern 18K gold loops so that they are fully wearable. The photographs are not very clear or complimentary.
