A green glazed and moulded faience shabti figure with a clearly defined hieroglyphic inscription covering the back.

Egypt, Ptolemaic Period, 332-30 BC

Leg repaired, several chips to the front of the body.

Size: 8.1 x 2.6 cms

Provenance: Ex. private collection, Dorset, UK. Acquired during the 19th Century. This forms part of a collection of a few dozen objects which have remained untouched in an attic since the 1960's.
