Egyptian faience seal

A green glazed faience seal with an inscription on the base and a pierced handle in the shape of a group of tied papyrus stems.

Egypt, 18th Dynasty, c. 1550-1292 BC

A surface chip on the upper left side of the inscription otherwise intact as shown.

Size: 2.5 x 1.6 cms
