Cypriot Iron Age pottery cup

A good quality pottery drinking cup with a single handle and grey painted linear decoration. The area below the handle is decorated with a typical stylised tail.

Cyprus, Early Iron Age, c. 1050 - 650 BC

A small chip from the rim and a few very minor chips elsewhere, otherwise in a superb state of preservation.
