A burnished red/brown pottery spindle whorl with extensive incised decoration.

A crack on one side otherwise intact

Size: 3.2 x 4.3 cms.

Ex. collection: Leto Severis, Cyprus. Collection number LS 644.

Leto Severis was a respected author on Cypriot history and co-founder of the Severis Foundation for research in Cypriot archaeology and history. Her very large collection was partly published by Vassos Karageorghis and many items were sold at auction during the 1990's in London.
