A red pottery flask with a globular body and single strap handle.

Greek, 5th or 4th Century BC

Foot lightly chipped, general wear to body, and extensive encrustation which could be removed.

Size: 7.6 x 5.9 cms

Acquired in the late 19th or early 20th Century. Probably collected by the archaeologist, architect and author Arthur E. Henderson FSA, FRIBA, RBA.
