A grey-ware pottery jar or beaker with a bulbous body, wide mouth and tapering foot.

Romano-British, Cambridgeshire, probably Nene Valley, 2nd or early 3rd Century AD

Rim chipped on one side otherwise intact. The pottery is a darker grey than the photographs suggest.

Size: 8.6 x 8.2 cms

Ex. private collection, Cambridge, UK. Acquired early 20th Century and found in the Cambridgeshire region.

A British cultural property export license would be required if this item is purchased by an overseas buyer. We are happy to apply and organise for a license on the buyer's behalf at no extra cost but the process will involve a delay of several weeks before postage.
